The UK

The U.K. Is very cool in my opinion if a school kid from a England, Scottland, Wales or Northern Ireland the information about general UK would probably be about fascinating land marks, Animals, famouse stars, old story's about the UK and The Queen, they learn so much different things it is just there accents as well really different.

The United Kingdom, is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, is a island nation in northwestern Europe. England – Were Shakespeare was born and The Beatles – is home to the capital, London, a globally influential and inspiring centre of finance and culture. England is also site of Neolithic Stonehenge, Bath’s Roman spa and centuries-old universities at Oxford and Cambridge.

My name is Nikora and I go to Hornby High School, I am a yr 7 this year and will be a year 8 next year, I really like playing sports my favorite sport is Basketball, I especially like to focus on reading when I like to because reading isn't my favorite subject Maths is I am pretty good at it too, And my favorite genre on movies are Horror. What is Your favorite Movie you have ever watched?

My teacher Whaea Raewyn is a graceful teacher she can get pretty mad sometimes but not all the time that is probably because her class is the best and good at different subjects. I would like to do this Summer Learning Journey because it is another experience I did not do this last year so why not do it this year.

If I would win I would want the Bluetooth speaker because have not had one ever I think and I really like Music as well So why not. 

Passion Project

My group's challenge this week is to get a blog post done before this Thursday, we are doing for Passion Project is a sports tournament on basketball and volleyball game as well as making posters about them, to sign up only if you are a year 7&8 and much more sports games like football/Soccer 

I and my group all have tasks to like for if we need the gym Tj.L, Aron.P, Micheal. H  will make a script to persuade Mr. Hilliard to let our group host some sports in the gyms including Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer/Football, We are fundraising for the homeless,

SLJ The UK

Going to the United Kingdom would be a new experience and fascinating.

And this week we were learning about or just to do more blogging this week because this week we are now making a blog post about different places around the world like the UK which I am doing, Austrailia, Germany and much more other places.

Some facts about the UK is that the total population is around 66.02 Million people and the currency of the United Kingdom is pounds sterling and if you don't know what sterling means it basically means that it is like silverware and cutlery or just silver,

The ethnic mix is white, Asian, black, Mixed, Arab, Other and did you know that the UK's National Icons are 1. Queen 2. The Barbary lion 3. The rose 4. Cup of Tea 5. The oask tree,

Their national sports is Rugby union, Rugby league, Cricket, Netball, and more other sports.
That was most of the info I found in a couple of minutes.

Finding an answer with Google Filters

This week we have been learning to use the google filters more often and we had a challenge to using the google filters we had to search about what Amphibious means in when it was made and other cool stuff about what it means 

Amphibious is a land and water it means that it could be a car one minute then it could be a submarine the next minute and I got this information off of the images filter and all filter in the google search.

   I have had more information in the news most of the relevant were made in 1932 in the earlier 1900's and the news filter from Google  is were I got most of the info.    

Who is Austin Post

Austin Post A.K.A Post Malone how did Austin Post come up with the name Post Malone But... First when Austin Post is searched on Google and what came up were photos of Post Malone, information sites like Wikipedia and other sites to show information about him there are some bits of the page that show information about his or hers when he was born what he or she does for a living or who his/her parents are what he/she does for a living might be dancing or singing. The sites that come up when you search for someone like Post Malone it would most likely come up with Wikipedia and a little hint right under the title about Wikipedia just a little information literally. 

And all of the Genres and Origins and stuff
