FLIGHT
Aim: To learn about flight and aerodynamics.
-
In your groups of 3, you will make a paper plane and measure its distance and behavior.
-
In groups of 3, you will make a water rocket and record its distance and behavior.
Definition: If an object is aerodynamics that means it is able to move through the air.
4 forces of flight:
-
Thrust: Produces, Balances the Drag.
-
Drag: makes the Weight slow down with them.
-
Lift
-
Gravity
Paper Plane:
Material: Piece of Paper
1. Paper
2. Paper clip
Steps:
-
Fold Lengths
-
Fold Again
-
Fold Corners
Findings:

can make a big impact on the object, paper airplane, you could just make
a few changes like cutting out a few squares would make a big difference
to the plane,
I have learned how our planes changed different directions with only a
few adjustments, our Normal plane with no adjustments flew in a straight line, 5M and our paper plane with Ailerons flew 3M in a Swoop to the side, Changing your plane just the slightest does make a diffrence,
